Just wanted to share some fun facts about SNSD when it comes to endorsements and promotions through this short article. Happy reading!^^

All of us know that the 9 girls are famous. With Global Generation coming alive this 2011 and their popularity still rising, SNSD is indeed recognized as music leaders not only in Asia but worldwide. 

When I went to Seoul last October 2011, I was amazed to experience the “REAL” popularity of the girls. I underestimated them. They were more popular, exposed, and revered than I expected. And I would say that Girls’ Generation really dominates alot of aspects of the Korean Culture.

While walking on the famous shopping districts like Itaewon, Myeongdong, Namdaemun and Dongdaemun, you would see stalls (tiangge type) that sell different SNSD merchandise that we usually see on online and on FB shops, and many more that even I haven’t seen before.

When you want to party and have fun, Hongdae is the place to be because they have the best clubs and drinking places there. And you would be surprised because while you’re drinking and chilling with your friends, the bar will be playing songs such as ‘The Boys’, ‘Telepathy’, ‘Mr. Taxi” and many others. What also surprised me when I was there was a big truck that had a jumbotron tv on the back which played The Boys and was going around the streets of Hongdae which really got the attention of everybody around. As for advertisements and endorsements, you will never miss seeing SNSD on the commercials, which will make you want to stay in your room and watch TV the whole day just to see them. Alot of stores also had photos and life-sized cut outs of the girls when you visit them like Yoona’s Innisfree, Maknae’s Faceshop, the DAUM ads on the subways and finally the famous SPAO store located in the Myeongdong Area which is like the “the toy store/candy shop” of every SONE or SM Entertainment supporter (as seen on the photo).

It’s really amazing to see how much success Girls’ Generation has achieved in the span of 4 years, and now that it’s 2012 for sure they will become bigger than ever. But as the girls always say, the reason for their success is because of the love and support given by their SONES. Each and everyone of us.
