Qualifications:

- Preferably Filipino, Male/Female not younger than 16 years old
(Female applicants are encouraged to pursue since we need more Female DJs in our team)
-Must not be shy to speak, preferably very interpersonal and friendly.
-Must be fluent in English (conversational level) both written and oral. Knowing other l
-Must possess a database of K-Pop songs not less than 500 songs, preferably up-to-date
-Willing to learn and use Winamp and Shoutcast.
-Able to handle multi-tasking
-Able to do regular shows even when school starts again in June
-Well-versed in social networking sites like facebook, tumblr, twitter, etc.
-A relatively good internet connection is required for this position.

If you’re a registered member of soshified then the next step I could suggest is to post at least once in the SSFPH thread. If you want more bragging rights then buy a lanyard from us (we’d be selling some soon enough) and that’s about it :)

3G: We bring the Sone Out!

Months of religious planning paid off as SSFPH really did manage to bring the SONE out during its 3rd gathering which was held in SMX Convention Center last April 14. Attendees were spotted as early as 6 a.m. within the vicinity of SM Mall of Asia. SONE from as far as Bulacan, Bacolod and Davao came to attend the much-awaited event.  Ingress started as early as 8 in the morning as fans patiently lined up and registered to gain admission. As soon as they entered the event hall, fans were welcomed with music videos, fancams, and concert tour clips of SNSD.

The program kicked off by 9 a.m., starting with a video introduction consisting of the MV of Beautiful Girls and the 3G teaser. To liven up the crowd, the program hosts came up with an ice breaker wherein they asked the audience: “Jiguemeun?” which directly translates to “Right now” followed by a resounding response of “So Nyeo Shi Dae!” which is “Girls’ Generation” in Korean. DJs of S9: Soshified Philippines Radio (DJ Prince, Park, Elli, and Eric) accompanied by MC Rainne hosted the event, complete with their MC tags similar to that of MBC Music Core.

The event was jam-packed with games, dance covers, and fantastic prizes! The first game was the human bingo where each attendee upon entering the event were given a sheet containing items they need to fill up. Items such as finding the person shares the same OTP with the attendee to the gruesome task of finding the one of the 3 Soshified International staff members. Upon completing all of the items with Jessica’s special day in mind, the attendee must yell out “Stress!”, popularly remembered as Jessica’s famous line in SBS Running Man. One of the most memorable games during the event was one which involved the participants saying the name of their bias and sustaining for as long as they can while funny or spazz-worthy clips of their bias played on the screen.  Another epic segment of the program featured 30 minutes worth of the SNSD Japan Concert Tour, fans couldn’t get enough as the cheered their lungs out.

Despite the size of the event space, fans kept pouring in and showing their support to all the activities and cover groups. The likes of K-Ace winner of the recently concluded K-Pop Cosplay Convention 2012, U9G, Nappeun Namja, Queen Shidae, Coffee Melon, JKL Acoustics, Cyber Swiss Girls, Oh!MyGee , and of course one of the most awaited performances was of SSFPH Dance Crew led by S9’s own, DJ Park performed their hearts out and gave their best covers of SNSD songs and dances.  It even came to a point where the all of the audience had to sit on the floor to give more for even more attendees and enough space for the performers. The fans were also able to indulge themselves with SNSD merchandise and other K-Pop goodies from Fangirlasia and Wenidokane.

The first highlight of the gathering was the showing for the GorJess tribute video to SNSD member Jessica for her birthday. The video consisted of clips from different SSFPH members saying what they think identifies a GorJess spazzer. The video received so much love and attention as contributing fans who were part of the attendees spazzed on their share of clips.  The most awaited part of the event was when the raffle went in full swing! Prizes consisting of various SNSD merchandise and memorabilia were given away to lucky fans with the winning ticket number. Some of the prizes included limited edition SNSD t-shirts, albums, Japan support photo booklets, and gifts sponsored by the Korean Cultural Center of the Philippines.  

The event ended by 5p.m., with the some of the lucky attendees going home with newly-won prizes and more friends to spazz with. Some of them even took their pictures with the cover groups, MCs and the individual tarpaulins of the girls for the event. With over 250 attendees excluding staff, performers and concessionaires; this definitely was the most-attended and well-received gathering of Soshified Philippines to date. Right now, it’s Girls’ Generation!
